Coaching agreements, intake forms, and waiver releases β signed from any device in under 2 minutes.
Life coaches, executive coaches, business coaches, and fitness coaches all need signed agreements before starting work β for legal protection, clarity of scope, and professionalism. SignBolt is the affordable e-signature tool built for solo coaches and small coaching practices.
The specific contracts, agreements, and forms SignBolt handles for this use case.
Core coaching engagement contract with scope, fee, session structure, confidentiality, and termination. Essential before the first paid session.
Capture client goals, background, and commitments as a signed document at the start of the engagement.
For fitness, health, or high-performance coaching with any physical or psychological risk, a signed liability waiver is essential.
Multi-session or multi-month programs with scheduled payments and specific commitments. Bulk-signed for cohorts.
Signed acknowledgement of refund policy before payment, protecting against chargebacks and refund disputes.
Mutual confidentiality β you keep client confidences, client keeps your methodology and materials confidential.
The moment a prospect says yes, send the agreement. SignBolt's mobile-friendly flow means clients sign from their phone within minutes β and you start the engagement with paperwork already done.
A signed coaching agreement with clear scope, session structure, and refund policy is your primary defence against the occasional client dispute. SignBolt's audit trail makes disputes much easier to resolve.
$8/month is less than a single coffee. For solo coaches running 10-30 clients at any time, SignBolt's Pro plan covers the entire contract workflow.
Running a cohort of 20 in a group program? Send signed agreements to all 20 at once with bulk send. Each client signs individually with a personal link.
Coaching is a trust business β and trust starts with professionalism. Sending a signed agreement at engagement signals to clients that you run a serious practice. SignBolt at $8/month is cheap enough to be automatic on every client; dropping agreements in favour of 'handshakes' erodes the trust that coaching depends on. Get the agreement signed, start the coaching.
Use a standard coaching agreement covering scope, fee, sessions, confidentiality, and termination. Save to SignBolt.
Fill in client name, engagement length, fee schedule, and any specific commitments. Save as a client-specific version.
The best moment is right after the client says yes β while motivation is highest. Send from SignBolt, client signs on phone, done.
For fitness, wellness, or intense transformation coaching, attach a liability waiver to every intake. SignBolt's release of liability template covers the core protections.
Signed PDF downloaded with audit trail. Store in your client record for the engagement duration.
Yes, for any paid coaching engagement. Without one, you have no written record of scope, fees, confidentiality, or termination β which means every client dispute is a he-said-she-said. A signed agreement is cheap insurance against the occasional difficult client.
Yes. Coaching agreements are ordinary commercial contracts under Australian law and are legally binding when electronically signed under the ETA 1999. SignBolt's audit trail (timestamp, IP, signer identity) is exactly what a tribunal or court would look for if a dispute arose.
Include a clear refund policy in your coaching agreement (e.g. prorated refund for unused sessions; no refund after first session). Have the client sign the agreement before payment. If a chargeback happens later, the signed agreement with your refund policy is your evidence to present to the payment processor.
For pure executive or business coaching with no physical component, a waiver is usually unnecessary. For fitness, wellness, plant medicine integration, or intense personal-development coaching with psychological risk, a release of liability is strongly recommended. SignBolt includes a release of liability template.
Yes. Use bulk send (Pro plan, $8/month) to dispatch the program agreement to all cohort members at once. Each client receives their own copy with their own signing link. The audit trail captures each client's individual signing event.
SignBolt does not have native integrations with Calendly, Acuity, or similar. For now, after the booking, manually trigger the SignBolt send. On the Business plan ($24/month) with API access, you can automate this: when a booking completes, your automation (Zapier, n8n, or custom code) triggers a SignBolt API call to send the agreement.
Include retainer terms in the coaching agreement: monthly fee, session inclusion (e.g. 4 sessions/month), roll-over rules for unused sessions, and termination notice (often 30 days). Sign the agreement once; it covers the ongoing relationship until terminated. New engagement with the same client after termination would require a new agreement.
